Flexible Screw Conveyor
Hapman's standard stationary HelixTM model can convey up to 40 feet. It is available in diameters ranging from 2-1/2-8 inches with a standard 8 cubic ft 304 stainless steel hopper, food grade poly conveyor casing and a protective grate with safety cut-off switch. Four auger configurations are available. Connectors are T-handle couplings for simplification of service. No special tools are required and this unit can be dismantled quickly.

An excellent choice for dependable 24/7 operations which require low segregation and/or degradation; complete enclosure for dust control; the handling of high moisture content materials, difficult to handle abrasive materials or ones which may tend to pack/smear; and in situations which may require multiple inlets and/or outlets. Bulk materials are conveyed between flights, at virtually any angle, for distances of up to 85 feet vertically, and more than 200 feet horizontally, depending on material bulk densities and required capacity. Capacities can reach up to 50 cubic feet per minute.

Dust is naturally generated when material is emptied from bags, boxes, drums, and other containers, into the collection hopper. Our Bulk Bag Unloaders are engineered to safely and effectively unload large bags, commonly known as Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC).
The structural framework is designed for your specific application. Each unloader is equiped with the features you need to maximize your bag handling process. From cantilevered I-beam, to electric hoist and trolley for loading and unloading of bulk bags without the use of a forklift. Other bulk bag unloader designs include frames for forklift loading, and low profile units for use in low ceiling areas where lack of overhead room would impede the full extension of the forklift. Also available are bulk bag unloader half-frames that can be used with existing hoist and monorail systems, loss-in-weight option for batching operations, for uninterrupted feeding directly from bulk bags, and other engineered designs for specialized requirements.
